The Swirling Eddies “Big Guns” Let’s Spin (1988)

When this album was released it was a little too arthouse for many. After some time, DA fans warmed up. However looking back today, Let’s Spin made perfect sense.

My pastor questioned saying “underwear” on the radio. At the time, most Christian radio was Talk and Hymns so you can understand.

My good friend Tom “The Tonebender” a full on Eddies advocate, sported pink hightops & pink suspenders.

Thank goodness these men had the courage to go out and say “Hey, it’s ok, were free to be us.”
