Stryper – No More Hell to Pay via Amazon Prime

Today I checked out the new Amazon Prime Music. Since I already have a Prime account, I couldn’t resist seeing what they had. A perfect chance to check out albums I don’t already own and might not pay retail for. While I don’t think Dan expressed himself very well, he did make his feelings and position clear. I tend to agree with the idea that you can be a Christian and support gay marriage. And that the issue of same sex support by the church being the new litmus test of orthodoxy is a very BAD idea. In my opinion the Christian ideal of commitment being coupled with intimacy is a great starting point for people with gender issues. These are often the wounded, and the least of these, the very ones that Christ came to reclaim. In the very strictest of terms the Bible clearly teaches (1 Corinthians 7:12-14) that while we can respect the office of marriage for non-Christians, it doesn’t apply to them, therefore if you believe that gays are prohibited from being saved (1 Corinthians 6:9) then the Bible would be in support of non-Christian gay marriage. We All Know / Shadow Weaver / The Choir

This is my favorite track on the new album from The Choir
It has some lyrics that remind me of the recent tragedy in nearby Oso, WA.

You can buy the CD & digital download directly from the band here.

Smashing new music from men of good blood:

I love to see Les Carlson rock! (Also is that Oz Fox? I think SO.)

From 1984 it’s Stryper and “Reason For The Season”
